1. The choice of main compound
As the main raw material, it is the pellet skeleton for the entire women’s TPR injection molding shoes, which provides the main properties of the shoe material such as strength and elasticity.
The specific selection of the grade should be determined by the manufacturer’s performance requirements for the sole material, and generally considered from the cost, processing performance, and sole variety.
2. Softening oil
Softening oil mainly plays a role in improving fluidity and reducing costs in women’s TPR injection molding shoe sole materials. The fluidity of the primer is generally measured by the melt flow rate. Hardness can be adjusted by adding softening oil or plasticizer.
3. Resin
Adding polystyrene can increase the fluidity and hardness of the melt, and improve the processing performance. When choosing a resin, compatibility should be considered first, generally following the principle of “compatibility with similar solubility parameters”
4. Filler
The main purpose of adding fillers to women’s TPR injection-molded shoes is to reduce costs and increase the hardness and wear resistance of the products. Commonly used are white carbon black, calcium carbonate, talc and so on. As the number of fillers increases, the hardness increases significantly, while the tensile strength and elongation at break decrease.
Therefore, the filler content should not be too high, and the type and dosage should be selected according to the requirements of product performance and processing technology. Generally, white carbon black does not exceed 5% and is used in combination with calcium carbonate. The amount of calcium carbonate is determined according to product requirements.
5. Chemical additives
Add 0.5% stearic acid to the formula to achieve lubrication, compatibility, plasticization and other effects. Adding a small amount of DCP to the formula for cross-linking can greatly improve the tensile strength and bond strength of TPR, but its dosage should not exceed 0.7% of the elastomer content. In the injection runner, the product is thin at the back or when the injection pressure is insufficient, the injected product will be dented.
Adding 1%-2 AC foaming agent to the formula increases the expansion force of the TPR material, which can effectively overcome the dent phenomenon, and the surface finish of the product is uniform. Micro-foaming can reduce the specific gravity of shoe materials, which is conducive to cost reduction, but excessive foaming will affect the product’s hardness and strength and other quality indicators. The dosage should be controlled at 0.5%.
